I've never before had a hard-on while speaking of demons! I speak of course of the 3rd coming of Diablo. This year is truly the year of Blizzard. Their top hit games are all over the place and will surely dominate the game scene once they are released. The story is pretty engaging too with it continuing from the previous Diablo game which I played probably 30 times. Probably the only game I've played that much. It's been 20 years since Mount Arreat and the World Stone's destruction. I've always wondered about that part of the story from playing D2 multiple times. Perhaps next year we'll find out what sort of side effects will befall a land that has been torn apart by terror. Blizzard has also been very good in the cockteasing department. Only officially announcing only 2 classes is making all the fanboys atwitter on what the final 3 classes could be. For sure they'll have to have a "tank" class and a pure spellcaster class. The last one could probably be a long range attacker class. Watching the 19 minute gameplay video already hints at the other multitude of features to come. One of the most important for me is the Horadric Cube recipes with their crazy combinations of runes and gems making new weapons or enchanting old ones. Seeing a couple of gems hit the floor from an exploding demon solidifies the presence of SOMETHING that helps you concoct useful things from a combination of useless things. Already I keep checking the D3 site which is already chock full of information for the reading, wondering when the next updates are going to be.
